The aggregation programs for all municipalities participating in the MASS CEA buying group have been renewed for an additional term through late fall 2025. New pricing, shown below, will go into effect starting December 2023. The programs’ supplier will remain Constellation.
All current participants will receive a notice in the mail in early November 2023, about a month before the new prices take effect. The notice will detail the new prices and how to elect a different program option or opt-out. The new pricing will continue to provide residents and businesses with predictable costs which will be fixed for two years. At a time when energy rates are skyrocketing around the world, we are happy to remain competitive with the Eversource Basic Supply rate through the winter season and expect to remain competitive with National Grid rates once they are announced later this fall. Please note, the MASS CEA program cannot guarantee savings compared to utility Basic Service for the entire two-year contract term, as utility rates are not known for the entire term.
